This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Sorry to whoever is watching me. I've been a little down-in-the-dumps this week. Last Sunday my mum moved away with the pets. My dog's my best friend ever, as you know from photos I've submitted ([link]). My cat's gone as well. Thankfully, ~Ursella came over for a few days and that was really nice. We did absolutely nothing worthwhile except get her tattoo touched up . But it's okay. It was so much fun.
At the moment, I'm just waiting for a response from VanArts. I completed all of my application stuff, including my portfolio ([link]), and now it is time to be patient. My weakness.
I finally completed that novel I've been reading since the end of my Montreal trip. It's called The Gargoyle. It was beautiful. The way Andrew Davidson writes is so graphic and each line has so much thought put into it. He said it himself that each line he writes is a form of poetry and it really shows. Anyway, the book did not disappoint and if you're looking for an amazing read about love that transcends time with a touch of James Frey style, I seriously suggest reading it.
Last night I finished an anime series called Clannad (well, I finished Clannad After Story, which is the second season). A lot of you probably already know about it. It was so effing amazing. I dreamt about it and woke up thinking about it. It all adds up: The style of anime is perfect. The amount of comedy doesn't overshadow the main story line, but it gives the perfect amount of relief after balling your eyes out the entire previous scene. It's tragic and beautiful without being disappointing in the end. It's a perfect story and the visuals in certain moments are breathtaking.
I haven't really had any good ideas for art lately. I guess I'm resting a little. I had a bit of an overload when doing my portfolio.
